The Greater Tygerberg Partnership (GTP) recently had the opportunity to welcome the Shoprite Group team to our Life-Changing Garden in Bellville, sharing the work happening on the ground and exploring opportunities to strengthen community food security.
Through its Act for Change programme, Shoprite is helping communities move beyond short-term hunger relief by supporting sustainable food-growing initiatives with seedlings, tools and training.
For GTP, the visit reinforced something we strongly believe: meaningful change happens when local action is matched with the right partnerships, resources and shared commitment.
Our Life-Changing Garden is one example of the practical, community-focused projects being driven in Bellville – and there is significant opportunity to grow their reach and impact.
