The Northern Cape Department of Economic Development and Tourism endeavours to accelerate economic growth and support development in the Northern Cape Province of South Africa through diversification, empowerment, employment, business creation and sustainable development.

Northern Cape Tourism Authority

The Northern Cape Tourism Authority is the official tourism destination marketing arm of the Northern Cape Provincial Government.

The organisation is tasked with marketing and promoting the province as a desirable leisure, events and business tourism destination locally and abroad.

Northern Cape Economic Development Agency (NCEDA)

The vision of the Northern cape Economic Development Agency is to be the catalyst for the acceleration of sustainable economic growth and development in the Northern Cape through efficient and effective use of public sector resources and public/private partnerships.  

Namakwa Special Economic Zone (NAMSEZ)

The Namakwa Special Economic Zone is being developed to be an industrial hub for the West Coast of Africa and a catalyst for industrialising the western SADC area.

The SEZ will unlock mining beneficiation, production of green hydrogen, infrastructure development, renewable energy and agro-processing.
