Project description

The Durban Film City is a private sector-led project with an estimated investment value of over R7.5-billion. The project is envisaged to be a world-class film studio complemented by tourism and leisure elements.

The project is to be constructed on the previous Natal Command site, previously owned by South African National Defence Force (SANDF). It is envisaged to make Durban a significant role player in South Africa film industry.
