Robust discussions took place today as the Mandela Bay Development Agency convened members of its voluntary advisory panel as part of its ongoing work to strengthen the city’s development trajectory.
The MBDA’s Voluntary Advisory Panel was established through an open public call in August, and its members have generously contributed their time and expertise towards the creation of a mini masterplan for Nelson Mandela Bay.
The first engagement included the broader voluntary panel, and focused on identifying blockages, areas of potential, and supporting strategic decision-making by the MBDA, its Board, and the Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality.
The purpose of today’s engagement was to ensure that the Agency’s work is ambitious yet achievable and firmly aligned with municipal and national priorities.
