Changing perceptions starts by changing places

The Greater Tygerberg Partnership's latest placemaking project is currently underway at the corner of Strand Road and Bill Bezuidenhout Avenue in Bellville.

Across Bellville, the Greater Tygerberg Partnership continues to invest in placemaking initiatives that create cleaner, greener and more welcoming public spaces. These visible improvements are helping to strengthen confidence in Bellville as a place to live, work, invest and visit.

Over the past few months, you may have noticed new gardens, upgraded walkways and enhanced public spaces emerging throughout the Bellville CBD. Each intervention forms part of a long-term vision to improve the public realm while creating spaces that encourage community pride, support local businesses and contribute to a more vibrant urban environment.

Our latest placemaking project is currently underway at the corner of Strand Road and Bill Bezuidenhout Avenue, transforming another important gateway through landscaping and public realm enhancements.

While each project may seem small on its own, together they are helping to reshape how people experience Bellville. Creating attractive, accessible and well-maintained public spaces encourages investment, supports economic activity and fosters a stronger sense of place for everyone who lives, works and visits here.

Because changing perceptions starts with creating places that people want to experience, enjoy and invest in.
