Keystone Park is a new 152-hectare logistics, warehousing and light industrial precinct in KwaZulu-Natal on the N3, at the Hammarsdale Interchange. The development goal is to turn Keystone Park into the best new, modern, fully serviced, secure logistics park in KwaZulu-Natal.

  • Keystone Park is 70% developed and operational.
  • 80% infrastructure is completed, while 20% remains incomplete.
  • CPD facilitating engagements between ETM, Developer and KPEMA in finding a solution for incomplete infrastructure.

Next steps

  • Facilitation of statutory rights to achieve 100% development of the park.
  • Procurement of contractor for MR-385 once funding secured.

Challenges

  • Lack of funding for implementation of upgrades to MR-385 and future maintenance.
  • De-proclamation and transfer of asset from KZNDOT to City.
