The Africa Tourism Leadership Forum (ATLF) is a Pan-African dialogue platform. It brings together key stakeholders from Africa’s travel, tourism, hospitality, and aviation sectors to network, share insights, and devise strategies for intra-African travel and tourism growth across the continent, while enhancing the brand equity of “Destination Africa”.
It is also the only forum of its kind in Africa that highlights tourism as a primary economic pillar to diversify African economies. The Forum is convened by Africa Tourism Partners and BDO South Africa.
The Africa Tourism Leadership Awards are the first-ever Pan-African travel and tourism awards recognizing innovation, excellence, and change-making pioneered by Africans, in Africa, for Africa.
Our Strategic Pillars
Advocacy & Policy: We bridge the gap between the private sector and governments, advocating for policies that simplify travel, improve regional connectivity, and foster a business-friendly environment across the continent.
Capacity Building: We empower the next generation of African tourism leaders through specialized training, mentorship programs, and knowledge-sharing sessions led by global industry experts, aligning our efforts with the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) goals.
Investment & Innovation: We create a marketplace for growth. By connecting startups, SMEs, and established hospitality brands with global investors, we drive the infrastructure and technology needed for a modern tourism economy.
