The Joburg Indaba has over the last few years established itself as a critical platform where industry leaders engage in strategic conversations that are open, honest, bold, fresh and to the point.
This is a gathering that draws captains of industry together with government and investors who have found it an important platform to put forward their thoughts on the industry
SA Mining Hall of Fame
The Joburg Indaba SA Mining Hall of Fame was launched in 2016 as a way of recognizing and honouring some of the legendary individuals who have significantly influenced the South African mining industry over many years.
As an industry, we know too well our unique legacy and challenges and we believe we struggle to celebrate some of the significant progress that has been made towards transformation and renewal. The SA Mining Hall of Fame is thus a way of recognizing and celebrating key role players in our industry, role models that young South Africans can look up to.
The Hall of Fame currently has 12 esteemed members, whom we would like to publicly acknowledge as some of the most highly regarded individuals in South Africa, of whom we are all immeasurably proud:
The SA Mining Hall of Fame will once again be held at a Gala Dinner on the 2nd October, the eve of the 2018 Joburg Indaba and will continue to celebrate significant contributions by South Africans to the mining industry.
The Joburg Indaba is a highly regarded and influential platform where industry leaders engage in robust conversations that are open, honest, bold, fresh and to the point.
