In the 2024/25 financial year, the ECDC provided funding of R890,572.08, which allowed Soma Workshop to purchase a new towing truck. This investment will help the business expand its services, improve efficiency, strengthen profitability, and serve more customers.
The ECDC’s Manager for Enterprise Finance & Business Support (BCMM & Amathole), Ms. Buseka Ningi, and her team officially handed over the new towing truck to Soma Workshop, a milestone that marks new opportunities for growth and stronger participation in the provincial economy.
