The event, hosted by the City of Cape Town and the Greater Tygerberg Partnership (GTP), is an amalgamation of the City’s Atlantis Business Expo held in October last year, and the GTP’s annual Bellville Investment Conference.
The expo is set to take place on Thursday, 8 June 2023 at the Bellville Park Campus at the University of Stellenbosch Business School located on Carl Cronje Drive in Bellville. This year’s expo, which is open to the public at no cost, promises to be an event that the Bellville business community won’t want to miss.
Alderman James Vos, Mayoral Committee Member for Economic Growth, said, “The City is proud to host the 2023 Bellville Business Expo because it speaks to our goal of building on the foundations for growth in economic nodes that are part of the larger Cape Town fabric. The expo will feature a wide range of industries, from technology to finance, hospitality and healthcare.
Attendees will get to connect with business development experts, gain valuable insights around operational growth, and explore new business opportunities. Additionally, the expo will give three businesses a fantastic opportunity to walk away with highly valued business growth packages, business mentor partnerships and business branding prizes.

Fast track business growth
Registration is now open and interested businesses can register for the 2023 Bellville Business Boot Camp programme. Whether they are looking for new markets, growth or to create new partnerships, they can register for this programme.
There will be an elimination process; where the top thirty qualifying businesses will be chosen from those participating in the four-week 2023 Bellville Business Boot Camp programme – which starts from 24 April 2023. The selected businesses will then be exclusively invited to participate in the 2023 Bellville Business Expo, where all their costs will be sponsored. Other businesses and industry leaders will have the opportunity to register to visit the 2023 Bellville Business Expo and attend the conference.
Additionally, the Expo will give three businesses a fantastic opportunity to walk away with highly valued business growth packages, business mentorship partnerships and business branding prizes.
