In the pursuit of our shared historical ties with Morocco and driven by a commitment to Pan-African ideals and a profound dedication to the advancement and interests of our African continent, the undersigned parties, DEVAC Invest Africa and the Mediterranean Development Center (MEDEV) are rooted in a legacy of mutual respect, cooperation, and solidarity.
These historic relations have stood the test of time, serving as a cornerstone for fostering peace, prosperity, and development across the African continent.
At the heart of our engagement lies a commitment to the values of Pan-Africanism, a philosophy that champions unity, solidarity, and collective action among African nations. Grounded in the belief that the destinies of African peoples are intertwined, Pan-Africanism inspires us to transcend borders, bridge divides, and work together towards a shared vision of a vibrant, prosperous, and interconnected Africa.
Against this backdrop, the Republic of South Africa and the Kingdom of Morocco recognize the imperative of reinforcing our engagement to serve the interests of our African continent. With a firm resolve to build upon the foundation of our historic relations and uphold the principles of mutual respect, equality, and sovereignty, the two parties MEDEV and DEVAC Invest Africa have come together to formalize the following agreement.
In this Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), both parties reaffirm their commitment to deepening cooperation, promoting sustainable development, and advancing the collective aspirations of the African people. Through concrete actions and collaborative initiatives, we we pledge to harness the potential of our partnership to address shared challenges, seize emerging opportunities, and contribute meaningfully to the socio-economic transformation of our continent.
As we embark on this journey of renewed engagement, we remain steadfast in our dedication to the principles of African unity and solidarity. With a shared commitment to Pan-Africanism as our guiding light, we stand ready to work hand in hand, shoulder to shoulder, towards a future where the African continent thrives, prospers, and flourishes for generations to come.
Objectives
The objectives of this MoU are to:
- Promote mutual understanding and cooperation between the Parties.
- Exchange knowledge, expertise, and best practices in areas of mutual interest.
- Organize visits and exchange programs to facilitate practical learning and collaboration.
- Strengthen the capacity of both organizations to contribute to the sustainable development of African communities.
- Foster a robust alliance to advocate for and address common regional and continental challenges
