CTICC launches events collection

Building on the CTICC’s 16 years of success, the centre has launched a selection of events to grow its offering.

The Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC) has been a leader in the venue hosting industry for the past 16 years, and now the convention centre has created events to add to its portfolio.

The CTICC already has a collection of events planned for 2019 and 2020 including; The Gift Fair, a Francois van Coke concert and the All Sport Expo.

The Gift Fair’s promises guests a festive shopping experience on the Foreshore. Mark your calendars for 29 and 30 November 2019 and make your way to the CTICC for artisanal food, bubbly and cocktails while you shop for locally sourced curated gifts.

Francois van Coke will be performing a unique show for one night only at the CTICC on Saturday, 14 December 2019. This intimate evening will feature his two guitarists, Jedd Kossew and Richard Onraet, as Francois performs acoustic renditions of his most popular hits from his time as the frontman of Fokofpolisiekar and Van Coke Kartel, and as an award-winning solo artist. In between, he will regale his audience with the background stories of timeless classics such as ‘Toe Vind Ek Jou’, ‘Komma’, ‘Ek Skyn (Heilig)’ and ‘Tot Die Son Uitkom’.

The centre’s major event showcase is the All Sport Expo, set to take place in September 2020, and features virtually every indoor, outdoor and water sport. This expo is the perfect show for people of all fitness levels, offering something for everyone in the sports and wellness arena.
